In a written statement, the Kurdistan Regional Presidency has condemned yesterday’s cross-border bombing by the Turkish and Iranian army.

The statement indicated that the farmers and workers received an economical blow and that many citizens were forced to flee because of the raids. It was also stated that the region was unstable.

The statement, condemning the assaults, read as follows; “the Kurdistan Regional Presidency is condemning the raids and the bombings on the cities and citizens in the region carried out by the Iranian Islam Republic and Turkey and sees it as an encroachment of the sovereignty of the Iraqi government and as an untimely act. We want the problems to be solved through dialogue as violence and attacks produce no result.”
