Kurdistan Communist Party protests Turkish attacks in Bashur

Kurdistan Communist Party said everybody should work to stop the bombings and attacks by the Turkish state against South Kurdistan (Bashur).

As the Turkish state continues to intensify its genocidal attacks against southern Kurdistan, northern Iraq, Turkish fighter jets targeted a civilian vehicle in Bradost’s Goshine area yesterday.

One of the two brothers Mensur Nafih Ebdullah lost his life in the attack and the other Peshew Nafih Ebdullah was wounded alongside two villagers.

Kurdistan Communist Party issued a written statement to condemn the attack and said: “The Turkish army continues to violate the Kurdistan Region’s lands. The Turkish army has most recently targeted a civilian vehicle in the Balekayeti region and killed one of two brothers, wounding 3 persons more. The Turkish state bombings pose a threat over the people’s lives.

We condemn the Turkish state attacks. We are calling on the Iraqi and Kurdistan Regional Governments and the public to speak up against the attacks. Everybody should work to stop the bombings and attacks by the Turkish state.”
