A 17 year old Kurdish teenager was detained by the Syrian military in Al-Raqqa, Syrian Committee for Human Rights reported.

According to the statement the house of Ahmad Ali Baghdak, a Kurdish resident of Al-Raqqa, was raided by the Syrian military on August 10. He was taken to an unknown destination and despite all the efforts of his family and friends his whereabouts are still unknown.

Since the events of Newroz in al-Raqqa earlier this year, Syrian military detained a large number of Kurds and their fate are still unknown.
