Kurdish politicians jailed in Bitlis transferred en masse

9 Kurdish politicians jailed in Bitlis since November 2016 have been transferred to other prisons in en masse.

9 more Kurdish politicians were arrested and put in Bitlis Prison as part of continued operations of political genocide in November 2016.

Out of these politicians, HDP Bitlis provincial co-chair Nazime Arvas has been transferred to Istanbul Gebze Prison; HDP Bitlis provincial deputy co-chair Abdullah Ok to Ordu Prison; Mutki co-mayor Özcan Birlik, Güroymak co-mayor M.Emin Özkan and Yolalan co-mayor Felemez Aydın to Rize Prison; Ovakışla co-mayor Ahmet Demir to Erzurum Oltu Prison; Bitlis co-mayor Hüseyin Olan and Hizan co-mayor İhsan Uğur to Elazığ prison; and Ovakışla co-mayor Selvin Karakoç to Ankara Sincan prison.
