A group affiliated to the KDP called 'Rojava Peshmerga' has attempted to forcibly enter the Xanesor town of Shengal under the control of Shengal Resistance Units (YBŞ).

The group accompanied by heavy weaponry and armored vehicles has reportedly started to form positions and dig a trench around where they forcibly stationed.

Local sources draw attention to the intentions to start a fratricidal conflict in order for the weakening of the Shengal Resistance Units and obstruction of the Êzîdîs becoming a military force.

The activity of so-called 'Rojava Peshmerga' is said to be a plan made by KRG President Masoud Barzani with Turkish officials during his latest visit to Turkish capital Ankara.
