The KCK Executive Council has vehemently condemned the execution of 3 Kurdish activists by Iran, emphasising that the Iranian government has initiated a dangerous process with its hostility to Kurds and its use of executions. KCK called on Kurds everywhere to protest at  the inhuman measures of the Iranian state.

The KCK Executive Council condemned the executions of Saman Nesimi, Hebibullah Efshari and his brother Ali Efshari.

‘Iran’s brutal policies should be condemned and the struggle stepped up’

The KCK statement stressed that instead of seeking a political solution to the Kurdish question, the Iranian government had opted to execute Kurdish activists. The statement added that Kurds were not the Kurds of old and had the power to protect their existence, freedom and gains.

“The Iranian state has started a dangerous process by carrying out these executions, despite all our warnings. The Iranian state should apologise to the Kurdish people and abandon this policy", KCK said, calling on the Kurdish people in all four parts of Kurdistan and abroad to protest at the savage, inhuman policies of the Iranian state and to step up the struggle in a determined way.”
