Identity of Suruç massacre’s perpetrator has been clarified. 20 years-old Şeyh Abdurrahman Alagöz carried out the suicide attack.

31 of the 32 people who lost their lives in the massacre were identified by their families and sent to their hometowns for burial ceremonies after the forensic examinations in Antep Forensic Medicine Institution.

TISSUE SAMPLES WERE COLLECTED FROM THE ATTACKER’S FAMILY

After the DİHA announcement claiming that the suicide bomber could be Şeyh Abdurrahman Alagöz, whose family could not be reached, Turkish police interrogated Alagöz’s family in Adıyaman and took tissue samples in order to identify the attacker. The examination of these samples confirmed that Alagöz had carried out the bloody massacre.
