HPG reported a Turkish military vehicle was destroyed during a guerrilla sabotage in Gever, Northern Kurdistan.

The Press Office of the People's Defense Forces (HPG) has issued a statement on the guerrilla actions and Turkish military activities in Kurdistan. According to the statement published on Saturday, a military vehicle of the Turkish army was struck by an HPG unit in Hakkari province. The sabotage action was carried out on August 25 in the district of Gever (Yüksekova).

The statement said: "The vehicle was moving on the road between the areas Şehîd Karker and Şehîd Gafur when it was destroyed by sabotage tactics. It is unclear how many enemy soldiers were killed and injured in the action". HPG dedicated the action to guerrilla commander Agit Garzan and the two commanders of the Iraqi Border Guard Battalion who died in a Turkish drone attack in Southern Kurdistan on August 11.
