HPG: Six soldiers killed in Lelikan

HPG / YJA Star guerrillas hit Turkish army positions located on Lelikan Hill. Six invaders Turkish soldiers were killed in the action, 1 surveillance camera was destroyed.

The HPG Press Center issued a written statement on the latest guerrilla actions and air strikes by the invading Turkish army.

Six soldiers killed in Lelikan

The HPG shared the following details about the action carried out yesterday in Lelikan: "As part of the campaign by the Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya Revolutionary Movement, our forces carried out an action against the invading Turkish army, located on Lelikan Hill in the Xakurkê region of the Medya Defense Areas on April 19, at 3.15 om.

Our forces hit the enemy positions and shelters on the hill. As a result of this action, six enemy soldiers were killed and 1 surveillance camera was destroyed.

Following the action, the invading Turkish army removed the dead and injured soldiers from the area with Sikorsky helicopters. Our units returned safely to base."

Turkish air raids on Avaşin and Qandil

The HPG Press Center added that the warplanes belonging to the invading Turkish army carried out air strikes on the Medya Defense Areas. "On 17 April 17, at 10 am, Turkish warplanes bombed the surroundings of the village of Dêrik in the Meyroke area of the region of Gare region as well as the Mamreşo area of the Avaşin region.

On 20 April (today) between 4:30 and 5:30 am, fighter jets bombed Zergelê Hill and the village of Bêpalan in the Qandil region. We did not experience any loss in these bombardments."
