HPG (People's Defense Forces) Press Office has released a statement detailing the actions conducted by guerrillas in response to the ongoing attacks by Turkish forces.

According to the statement, most recent actions by guerrillas in Northern Kurdistan left 6 soldiers and 4 police dead, and 8 police wounded, while several military vehicles were damaged and munitions were seized.

Guerrillas conducted an action against a Turkish troop involved in the construction of a guard post near Martyr Kendal area near the border of Heftanin area in Medya Defense Zones between 09:00-13:00 September 6. While the number of casualties couldn't be verified, Turkish army shelled the Martyr Kendal area with howitzer and mortars after the action.

After stopping a truck carrying military equipment from Şırnak to Çukurca at 07:00 on September 6, guerrillas seized a large quantity of ammunition belonging to the Turkish army, and burnt the truck with the rest of the materials in it.

In another action, guerrillas carried out a rocket attack on Coast Security Guard Post in Edremit district of Van at 22:00 on September 6. A total of 5 soldiers were killed as the sentry box here was destroyed by guerrillas in addition to the base station in the post.

ACTION AGAINST POLICE STATION IN MAZIDAĞI

A clash erupted between police and guerrillas who attempted an attack on the police station in Şemrex (Mazıdağı) district of Mardin at 23:00 on September 6. The action by guerrillas left one police dead and several armored vehicles damaged.

Guerrillas destroyed a base station in Qurdîsê village of Mardin's Artuklu district at 23:00 on September 6.

After blocking the road between Hezex (İdil) district of Şırnak and Kerboran (Dargeçit) district of Mardin yesterday afternoon, guerrilla performed ID checks and informed the people about the current process. A vehicle carrying supplies to a guard post in the area was seized by guerrillas who later forgave the driver and handed over the vehicle back upon the forgiving of the local people.

Troops at TRT and Gırê Cotyar brigades and Ziringê guard post in Şırnak have shelled the entire Gabar area for the last three days.

ASSASSINATION ACTION AGAINST GÜZELDERE GUARD POST

An assassination action by guerrillas left one soldier dead in Gaz (Güzeldere) guard post in Bingöl's Genç district at 18:00 on September 6.

Guerrillas hit and damaged a military cargo plane after taking off from Êlih (Batman) airport at 18:00 on September 6.

Marty Sımko team hit three vehicles of Turkish security forces patrolling on the road between Patnos district of Ağrı and Malazgirt district of Muş at 22:30 on September 4. Two of the vehicles were damaged in the action, but the number of casualties couldn't be verified.

THREE SPECIAL OPERATION POLICE KILLED IN AMED

Three special operation police were killed and eight other were wounded, including three heavily, in an action conducted by civilian groups of resistance during clashes between police and locals in Suriçi neighborhood of Amed's Bağlar district on September 6. clashes in the area are going on.

Guerrillas sabotaged and destroyed 3 wind roses generating electricity in Çerçi Kaya hamlet of Hatay's Serinyol district at 17:00 on September 6.
