Turkish army’s reconnaissance flights and warplane activities continue increasingly. Clashes took place during the Turkish army’s recent operations.

In its written statement, HPG Media Center stated that Turkish drones carried out reconnaissance flights over the Xakurke region of Medya Defense Zones between 06:00 and 08:00 on July 24.

Turkish drones carried out similar missions over;

-Avashin between 02:00 and 05:30 on July 24,

- Kandil between 08:00 and 11:00 on July 24,

- Heftanin between 12:00 and 13:30 on July 23,

- Zap between 22:00 and 23:30 on July 23,

- Çırav and Gabar between 21:00 and 22:00 on July 23,

- Southern Muş between 09:00 and 16:00 on July 23,

- Xaçareş between 11:00 and 15:00 on July 23,

- Gelîye Uranis between 00:00 and 01:00 on July 24,

- Eledağ between 12:30 and 16:00 on July 23.

Turkish warplanes flew over Xakurke and Avashin regions between 14:30 and 15:30 on July 23, and in Metina between 01:00 and 02:00 on July 24. Accompanied by drones, Turkish soldiers laid ambushes in Batman’s Xenduk, Ceseni, Asek and Mawa regions between 14:00 and 21:00 on July 22.

AMBUSHES IN LİCE AND PASUR

HPG Media Center stated that Turkish soldiers accompanied by 8 armored vehicles laid ambushes in Amed’s Lice and Pasur (Kulp) districts between 21:00 on July 23 and 09:00 on July 24. Turkish army also bombarded Hakap Hill with tanks from the Êriş guard post located near Zap between 12:00 and 12:30 on July 23, and launched an operation that is till on-going in the Demirkapı region in Kars’ Kağızman district at 06:00 on July 23.

CLASHES DURING TURKISH ARMY OPERATIONS

HPG stated that soldiers and guerilla forces clashed near the Zorava village of Ağrı’s Doğubeyazıt district, adding that villagers objected to the army operation, which ended shortly without any results.

Clashes also occurred during the Turkish army operations in the Kömür region of Adıyaman around 14:00 on July 20. HPG stated that the guerrillas quickly responded to the soldiers’ encirclement efforts, killed 3 and injured 2 soldiers.

WARNING ATTACK AGAINST THE FOSSIL FUEL PLANT

HPG Media Center ended its statement by saying that guerrilla forces carried out a warning attack at the Bespin fossil fuel plant located in Şırnak’s Silopi district between 21:00 and 22:30 on July 23, destroyed two power lines, and stopped the activities of the power plant.
