HPG: 6 Turkish soldiers killed in Heftanin

The Press Office of People’s Defense Forces (HPG-BIM) reported that on December 15, HPG guerrillas carried out two-way action against the invading Turkish soldiers positioned on the Koordine hill in the Bektorya area in Heftanin. 6 Turkish soldiers were killed as a result of the action.

The HPG-BIM's statement said: “A two-way attack was carried out by our forces on December 15, between 12:00 and 12:20 against the invaders positioned on the Koordine Hill in the Bektorya area of ​​Heftanin within the framework of Cenga Heftanin Revolutionary Campaign.

The first attack group targeted and hit the position containing 4 Turkish soldiers. It was completely destroyed together with the soldiers. The A4 position of the enemy who attempted to intervene in our forces during the action was targeted and hit by the second attack group, and this A4 position was destroyed together with 2 soldiers. Another position on the hill was hit closely yet the number of the soldiers who were killed and injured here could not be clarified.
