HPG: 11 soldiers killed in Oremar and Amed

7 SOLDIERS KILLED IN OREMAR

According to the HPG statement, guerrillas conducted an action against the Mamreş outpost in Oremar area at around 10:30 on April 5. A total of 7 soldiers were killed here, 5 of whom were killed as guerrillas hit the outpost with rockets, and 2 others died in assassination actions.

Guerrillas hit the same outpost with rockets once again at 14:30 the same day, as a result of which Turkish military forces suffered casualties but the exact number couldn't be verified.

In the wake of the action by guerrillas, Turkish troops hit the Hill Ronahi, Mêrgê, Hopê and Hill Xwedê with howitzer and mortar fire. Turkish drone activity over the area lasted till 5 am this morning.

4 SOLDIERS KILLED IN AMED

HPG continued, reporting another sabotage action by guerrillas who targeted a Turkish armored vehicle on the road between Lice and Kulp districts of Amed at 16:00 on April 4.

at least 4 soldiers were killed and the vehicle was completely destroyed as a result of the action which was carried out by Martyr Raman Soro Team of Vengeance in memory of the HPG guerrillas fallen in Garzan.

CONTROL ON FARQIN-KULP HIGHWAY

HPG guerrillas performed a control on the highway between Farqin (Silvan) and Kulp districts of Amed between 12:00 and 15:30 on April 5. During the road control, Turkish UAVs performed flights over the scene that was later shelled by mortars.

AIRSTRIKE ON ZAP

HPG reported that Turkish military shelled Hill Cehennem and Kani Sarke area in Zap region between 04:30 and 06:30 this morning. The bombardment caused material damage in the targeted area.

On April 5, Turkish Cobra type helicopters in Oremar region shelled the surroundings of Hill Leylek and foothills of Çerçela while airdropping soldiers on the hill.
