HDP MPs detained in Ankara transported to Amed by military helicopter
HDP Co-chair Figen Yüksekdağ, MPs Sırrı Süreyya Önder and Gülser Yıldırım who were detained in Ankara are reported to have been transported to Amed by a Sikorsky helicopter.
HDP Co-chair Figen Yüksekdağ, Mardin MP Gülser Yıldırım and Ankara MP Sırrı Süreyya Önder have been transported to Diyarbakır by Sikorsky military helicopter. Detained in Ankara in the simultaneous operation launched after midnight against the HDP, Yüksekdağ, Yıldırım and Önder were rushed into a military helicopter, brought to Amed and referred to court.
Sırrı Süreyya Önder is known to avoid air travel due to his phobia. Önder travels to all domestic and foreign meetings by land route, and was reportedly forced to board the helicopter last night.
