HDK-DEM Party-DBP delegation holds talks in Hewlêr

A delegation of the HDK, DEM Party and DBP is holding talks in Hewlêr (Erbil) in southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq).

A delegation of the Peoples’ Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party), Democratic Regions Party (DBP) and Peoples’ Democratic Congress (HDK) is having talks in Hewlêr (Erbil) in southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq).

According to a statement by the DEM Party Press Center on Monday, the delegation consists of HDK Co-Spokesperson Meral Danış Beştaş, DEM Party Central Executive Board (MYK) member Serhat Eren, DBP Diplomacy Commission Co-Spokesperson Murat Sarısaç, DEM Party MP Saliha Aydeniz, DEM Party Youth Assembly Co-Spokesperson Rezan Kağanarslan and DEM Party Erbil Representative Murat Şen.

The statement said that the delegation will meet with political parties, personalities and democratic mass organizations in Hewlêr regarding the Call for Peace and Democratic Society made by Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan on February 27.
