Guerrillas hit Turkish soldiers in Amed, Hakkari and Şırnak

HPG Press Centre announced that guerrillas hit Turkish soldiers in Dicle, Çukurca and Uludere, and destroyed a vehicle of the Turkish army.

HPG Press Centre provided information regarding the actions carried out by HPG (People's Defense Forces) and YJA-Star (Free Women's Troops) guerrillas in Dicle, Çukurca and Uludere, North Kurdistan.

AMED

HPG recalled that guerrillas had hit the Turkish soldiers stationed on two hills in the countryside of Amed's Piran (Dicle) district at 08:45 on April 21.

While soldiers were airdropped into the area with Sikorsky helicopters, a Ford Connect type vehicle of the Turkish army started to patrol in the area following the action. Guerrillas hit this vehicle with RPG-7 weapons and destroyed it. The number of those killed or wounded in the action couldn't be clarified.

ÇUKURCA

At 10:00 on April 21, guerrillas hit the Serêsêvê and Girê outposts in Hakkari’s Çelê (Çukurca) district with mortars. The number of soldiers killed or wounded in this action couldn't be clarified.

ULUDERE

Guerrillas also hit the Sinek outpost in Şırnak's Qileban (Uludere) district with mortars at between 11.00–12.00 on April 22. The number of soldiers killed or wounded in this action couldn't be clarified either.

TURKISH AIRSTRIKES

At between 15.00–15.30 on April 22, Turkish warplanes bombed the Deraşe village and surroundings of Sêgirê Kevin village in Amedia district of Duhok. The bombardment damaged the vineyards and orchards of locals, and a civilian car.
