Gerîla TV released footage of the action carried out by the YJA Star guerrillas in the Şehîd Qehreman area of Xakurkê. As a result of the action, five Turkish soldiers were killed.

The HPG Press Center had issued the following statement regarding the action: "On 22 June, an operation was launched by the invading Turkish army in the Şehîd Qehreman area. Our forces took the invaders under control and effectively hit them with sabotage tactics at 2pm. 4 invaders were killed and 3 were injured in this action.

The invaders removed their dead and wounded by throwing smoke bombs. At 2.30pm, the invaders were targeted once again with sabotage tactics and hit accurately, and one solder was killed.

This action, in which a total of 5 soldiers were killed and 3 were injured, was carried out by our YJA Star forces to salute 30 June, Day of Sacrifice."
