Gerîla TV has released footage from an action carried out by guerrillas against Turkish soldiers in Zavite village highland in Çukurca district of Hakkari.

The HPG Press Office had released the following statement on the related action:

“On May 24 at 11 am, our forces carried out an action against soldiers positioned on the highlands of Zavite village of Hakkari's Çelê (Çukurca) district. Four of the soldiers who were shot with heavy individual weapons were killed while eight were wounded. On the same day at 16:45 hours, our forces effectively struck the armored vehicle located on the Çeperê Şêxa hill with heavy weapons. Three soldiers were killed while the armored vehicle was destroyed in this action. These actions were carried out in memory of our comrade Martyr Bedran Gundıkremo.”
