Guerrillas continue their actions against Turkish troops in the guerrilla-controlled Medya Defense Zones in southern Kurdistan where a large-scale occupation operation by the Turkish army has been ongoing since last Friday.
Gerîla TV has published footage from an action in which guerrillas hit Turkish soldiers in Zap region of Medya Defense Zones in southern Kurdistan, northern Iraq.
According to the HPG Press Office statement, the action targeted Turkish soldiers in the Qela Bedewê area at 17:20 on April 25.
The footage shows a violent explosion and smoke rising from the scene as the soldiers stationed on a hill are struck.
According to HPG, two soldiers were killed and two others wounded here.
At 12:10 on the same day, snipers from Free Women’s Troops (YJA-Star) hit the soldiers in Qela Bedewê area, killing two of them.
Another action carried out by HPG snipers at 18:00 left two more soldiers dead in the same area.
