Eleven Turkish soldiers killed in mobile guerrilla teams actions, one helicopter hit

Eleven Turkish soldiers were killed in actions carried out by mobile guerrilla teams, and one attack helicopter was hit.

The HPG Press Center said in a statement that “as a result of effective actions carried out by our mobile teams, 11 Turkish soldiers were killed, 2 others were injured and one attack helicopter was hit. The invading Turkish army, which was unsuccessful in the face of our forces, bombarded the resistance areas 23 times with warplanes, 14 times with attack helicopters, 3 times with chemical weapons and explosives, and dozens of times with howitzers.”

The HPG shared the following information regarding the actions taken and the details of the attacks: “In the Avaşîn region as part of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign we carried out the following actions:

On 30 June, at 7.50pm, the invaders in the Kokerê area were targeted by our mobile teams from three sides and hit with a coordinated guerrilla action. In this action carried out by our forces with heavy and individual weapons, at least 4 soldiers were killed and 2 others were injured.

On 1 July at 2.30am, the invaders in the Kokerê area were targeted by our YJA Star forces snipers and 1 soldier was killed.

In the Zap region as part of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign, the following actions were carried out:

On 29 June, at 10pm, attack helicopters that wanted to bombard the Kurojahro Resistance Area were targeted by our forces and came under intense fire. As a result of it one attack helicopter was hit. After the intervention, the helicopters had to leave the area.

On 30 June at 9.30am and 1pm, the invaders in the Kurojahro Resistance Area were targeted by our snipers and 2 soldiers were punished.

Within the framework of the Cenga Xabûre Martyr War Maraş Revolutionary Campaign the following actions were carried out:

On 30 June at 11.50am and on 1 July at 7.30am, the invaders in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were targeted by snipers and 2 soldiers were killed.

On 1 July, at 5am, the invaders in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were targeted and shot by our mobile teams and 2 soldiers were killed.

Attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army with chemical weapons and explosives were as follows:

– On 30 June, the Girê Martyr Rêber war tunnels in the Karker Resistance Area were bombed 3 times by chemical weapons and explosives.

Attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army with howitzers, combat helicopters and warplanes:

-On 30 June, the Girê Amediye, Saca, Sîda and Rênçbiraxa areas and the Neqeba Sinînê area in Xakurkê were bombed with howitzers fired from the border police stations. After the bombardments, the fires in the Saca area continue.

-On 30 June, Gire Hakkarî, Girê FM, Kurojahro, Girê Amiye and Girê Cûdî Resistance Areas were bombed 14 times with attack helicopters.

-On 30 June, the Girê Amediye, Girê Bihar, Werxelê, Saca, Çemço and Sîda Resistance Areas were bombed 23 times with warplanes."
