Efrin’s Bashemra village bombed by a fighter jet

Bashemra village in Efrîn Canton’s Shêrewa district has been bombed by a fighter jet of unknown origin. The attack has damaged civilian residences.

Hawar News Agency (ANHA) reported that a fighter jet of unknown origin flew over the Bashemra village in Shêrewa district of Efrîn for some time and dropped bombs twice. The report was grounded on a local source in the village.

The village residents left their homes after the bombing in case there would be more to come.

On October 13, 2016, the check point in Xezêwiyê village in Efrîn Canton was hit by a fighter jet of unknown origin. 9 people had lost their lives in the attack and 50 others were wounded. Russian made missile fragments were found in the bombed area.
