Democratic Society Congress (DTK) has issued a statement strongly condemning the execution of three Kurdish activists by the Iranian regime, and calling on the international community to take actions against the fascist attacks and murders of Iran.

“The colonialist Iranian regime is in panic and fear because of the defeat of the plots played on Kobanê through a historic resistance, and in the face of the struggle of the peoples of Kurdistan”, stressed the statement of the DTK, adding that behind this panic and fear of the Iranian regime is the successful struggle against the ISIS gangs backed by hegemonic international forces in their attacks on the Kurdish people, as well as the recognition of the Kurdish liberation struggle worldwide through the resistances staged in Sinjar, Makhmur and Kobanê.

DTK stressed that the struggle of the Kurdish forces in Sinjar, Makhmur and Kobanê in national unity created hope and confidence in the entire the Middle East, adding that the occupant states in Kurdistan have attempted jointly to carry out further attacks and operations as the Kurdish Liberation Movement has become a leading actor in the Middle East for a free and democratic transformation and change.

The Congress said the execution of the three Kurdish activists, Saman Naseem, Hebibullah Efshari and Eli Efshari was the result of hostile policies and joint operations against the Kurds, adding that Iranian regime prepared to increase its repression and killings by means of further detentions, arrests, tortures and executions targeting the democratic struggle of the people.

Strongly condemning the executions and the repressions of the Iranian regime, DTK called on the international community, primarily the UN, EU and the human rights activists, to take urgent action against the repressive Iranian regime.

DTK lastly stressed that the repressive policies, tortures, imprisonments and executions will not succeed to stop the struggle for liberation, but rather will only enhance the determination of the people in their all the most legitimate struggle.
