Dr. Tîjda Amed: Our people in all four parts of Kurdistan should react to use of chemical weapons

Stating that the Turkish state did not get any results from the invasion attacks, Dr. Tîjda Amed said: "Our people in all four parts of Kurdistan should react to the use of chemical weapons by the Turkish state."

The invasion attacks launched by the Turkish state against Medya Defense Areas continue. Unable to break the resistance carried out by the guerrillas, the Turkish state resorts to all kinds of dirty tactics and methods, including chemical weapons.

Guerrilla Dr. Tîjda Amed spoke to ANF about the Turkish state's invasion attacks and the use of chemical weapons.

Tîjda Amed said that the Turkish state attacked the lands of Kurdistan with the cooperation of the KDP, and added: "The Turkish state uses banned chemical weapons because it has not been able to break the guerrilla resistance despite all its weapons and technology. The Turkish state aims at surrounding the Medya Defense Areas and the guerrillas, and in this way invading the region. It aims to occupy it as a whole. Today it is using the PKK movement as an excuse, but tomorrow the Bashur lands, the KDP and the South Kurdish government will also face this danger. These dangers must be seen. We will continue to respond to the attacks of the Turkish state as guerrillas. Today, our friends in those areas are resisting and fighting.

The Turkish state, unable to advance in the face of guerrilla resistance, uses chemical weapons and this is a crime. The Turkish state has committed this crime against the guerrillas dozens of times. The Turkish state launched an attack against the guerrillas, both from the air and from the ground, but without results. It wants to get results by using chemical weapons. International organizations should react to this crime committed by the Turkish state. Our people in the four parts of Kurdistan, especially our people in the South, must strongly show their reaction against the Turkish state. The invading Turkish state is using chemical weapons with the power and confidence it receives from foreign states."

Iraq government should not remain silent

Referring to the consequences of the use of chemical weapons, Dr. Amed pointed out that chemicals not only destroy human life, but also cause serious damage to nature.

Emphasizing that the KDP, which took part in the invasion attacks carried out by the Turkish state, is against the free Kurds, Tîjda Amed continued: "The KDP must end its cooperation with the Turkish state in the territory of Kurdistan. The betrayal is a danger to society, it should be known.

On the other hand, the Iraqi government should not remain silent. The fascist Turkish state is waging war on the territory of Iraq and South Kurdistan, and the Iraqi government has only verbally expressed its reaction, while a more serious stance is needed. They can express their reactions in various ways. Not only the Iraqi government, but all people living in the region need to strengthen their reaction. First of all, we say this for our Kurdish people living in South Kurdistan, and for our people dispersed all over the world. Again, everyone who calls himself an intellectual, a democrat, a defender of human rights should stand against this crime."

Resistance will bring victory

The Kurdistan guerrillas will resist attacks until the end, said Tîjda Amed, adding: "We are in the middle of a great war, the enemy is attacking. We will respond to this war. We want the sale of war vehicles to be banned. This should be an important agenda item in the media and public opinion.

Today, there is great resistance in Zap and Avaşîn. The attacks still continue. So far, the Turkish army has not achieved the desired results. The determination shown by the guerrillas comes from Rêber Apo's [Abdullah Ocalan] ideology. With this determination, we will liberate our Leadership, our people and our country. The resistance and struggle will bring victory."
