A delegation of journalists including Presidents of TGS (Journalists' Union of Turkey) and Basın-İş Union have been hindered and threatened by Turkish security forces as they attempted to enter the neighborhoods where armed clashes are taking place at the moment.

ETHA correspondent İsminaz Ergün who is also taking part in the delegation told that they went out to do their job and talk to the people about the conflict and armed clashes in their settlements.

“As we were on our way to the area of clashes, security forces confronted us with armored vehicles and told us they would open fire on us if we didn't leave. They shot a group heading before us. We have taken shelter in a mosque now.”
