DBP Amed branch co-chair remanded in custody

DBP (Party of Democratic Regions) Amed branch co-chair Hafize İpek has been remanded in custody on charges of “knowingly and willfully aiding an illegal organisation despite not being involved in its hierarchical structure'”.

DBP (Party of Democratic Regions) Amed branch co-chair Hafize İpek has been remanded in custody.

İpek had been detained as a result of a house raid by police in the morning of August 27 following the protest to 'halt the life' on August 26. She was referred to a court yesterday evening.

After giving her testimony at prosecutor's office, İpek was remanded in custody on charges of “knowingly and willfully aiding an illegal organisation despite not being involved in its hierarchical structure'”.
