Following a crackdown by police forces in Amed's Silvan district this morning, a curfew has been imposed on the neighborhoods of Tekel, Konak and Mescit.

In the wake of the attack by police forces in Mescit neighborhood earlier this morning, one police has reportedly lost his life, and three people, including two policemen, have been wounded in clashes, according to initial reports.

Despite there being no official statement by the Governor, police have announced from armored vehicles and the mosques that a curfew has begun in three neighborhoods as of 10:10 local time.

Following the announcements, police forces in a number of armored vehicles started heading towards Konak neighborhood.

In Cami and Selahattin neighborhoods as well, police made announcements from armored vehicles, calling on the people to enter their houses and not go out.
