Curfew declared in 30 villages in Bingöl

A curfew has been declared until further notice in 30 villages and neighborhoods in Bingöl’s Genç district in preparation for the military operation to be conducted in the region.

The Turkish army, having suffered serious damage from the guerrilla forces, has laid siege to villages and wants to depopulate the area. Following Lice and Kulp, a curfew has been declared in 30 more villages in the Genç district of Bingöl.

Kazancık, Açıkalın, Olgunlar, Köklü, Büyükçağ, Gümüşlü, Yuvalı, Aslancık, Üzümcük, Kirişli, Hasenan, Taşkapı, Mezraa, Varvusen, Coşkunlar, Mezra, Yolaçtı, Kaynaklı, Toklu, Akpınar, Herkir, Kayacık, Yürekli, Doğanlar, Karzel, Kaygısız, Kaymaz, Sevimli, Sağgöze and Yenice villages in Bingöl’s Genç district are affected by the curfew.

10 VILLAGES UNDER CURFEW IN KULP

In the same operation, a curfew had been declared in 10 villages in Amed’s Kulp district yesterday. The villages are: Ağaçlı (Cixsê), Kaynakköy (Xirûc), Narlıca (Tiyaks), Dolun (Aqetîn), İslamköy (Kuyê), Akdoruk (Gavgas), Ağıllı (Gomak), Aşağı Elmalı (Deyas), Çağlayan (Zara) and Karpuzlu (Herta).
