Clashes have intensified in Vilayeti Sor (Red Houses) area and Felhaya village which were liberated by the YPG/YPJ forces from the ISIS gangs yesterday.

By taking control of the Vilayeti Sor and Felhya village which are located on the other side of Khabour River, YPG/YPJ forces have crossed the River from the eastern side of Hasekê too.

Vilayeti Sor is also neighbouring the Wiran neighbourhood where clashes between the Syrian regime forces and the ISIS gangs continue.

Following the liberation of Vilayeti Sor, a group of ISIS members who arrived the settlement from Wiran neighbourhood attempted yesterday evening for an attack, which was immediately repulsed due to early and strong response of the YPG/YPJ fighters.

In the meantime, some bodies of probably Syrian regime fighters have been discovered in Vilayeti Sor.
