The onslaught by state forces is getting heavier in Şırnak's İdil district where a state of siege under the name of curfew continues for 9 days.

Earlier today, Turkish Cobra helicopters and tanks shelled Yeni neighborhood which left many houses burnt and unusable.

Clashes have now intensified in Turgut Özal neighborhood which is protected by locals resisting for self-rule.

Turkish forces have made an attempt to enter the neighborhood but were strongly responded by Civilian Defense Units YPS/YPS-Jin.
