According to initial reports, soldiers of the invading Turkish army opened fire on the positions of YPG/YPJ fighters in Çetelê village of Dirbêsiyê Wednesday afternoon. Turkish soldiers also attempted to enter Rojava soil with tanks, which faced an intervention and response from YPG/YPJ fighters.

As clashes are ongoing, Rojava-based Hawar News Agency (ANHA) reported that a tank of the Turkish army has been destroyed.
