The AKP-MHP regime is abusing all state resources illegally to ask for votes as they are afaid of losing the June 24 snap elections.

Following the Şırnak Governor, the Van Governor has also taken to the streets to ask for votes for the AKP. Van Governor and trustee appointed to the Metropolitan Municipality Murat Zorluoğlu took with him Gendarmerie Security Army Corps Lieutenant General Salih Karataş, Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Brigadier General Yavuz Özfidan, Province Police chief Mehmet Suat Ekici and 6th Border Regimen Commander Colonel Şahin Yenilmez to meet with the neighborhood residents in the Erçek neighborhood of the Ipekyolu district.

Zorluoğlu started his speech by attakcing the DBP administration.

Zorluoğlu badmouthed the efforts of the DBP municipality while praising the government’s projects. He said all the “services” brought to Van were made with resources provided by the government and Erdoğan, and claimed that Erdoğan provided special support for Van.

Zorluoğlu said the following on the snap elections to be held on June 24: “We are the intermediaries for the services we provide. The true owner of the deed is our esteemed President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and our government. In this sense, we must keep this in mind. Turkey will come to a turning point. June 24 is a turning point for Turkey. With Allah’s will, if our country will overcome this turning point without problems, there will be no obstacles left on the path to being a regional and global great power. And the Republic of Turkey, Allah willing, will become one of the greatest powers in the world. No steps will be taken in the region without Turkey’s input.”
