A lorry of aid collected by Kurdish people in Germany for the Yazidi people in Sinjar has reached the Mount Sinjar where a challenging struggle for life is going on since the beginning of the ISIS presence and attacks in the region early last August.
TEVDA executive Xelil Şengali who was handed over the aid, of mainly shoes and clothes, thanked the people of Kurdistan for the support and the Tevgera Alikarıya Rojava for the delivery.
Need for food and tent
Şengali stated that the people had some basic needs more urgent than clothing, which include daily food, tents and containers with the onset of the summer and over temperature that also brought along a need for medicine in the face of the illnesses caused by it.
Şengali called on the Kurdish people and humanitarian organizations to provide support to overcome the severe conditions they are living under.
