22 people detained in Amed and Muş

22 people have been detained in the political genocide operations in Amed and Muş provinces, North Kurdistan.

The AKP government continues its political genocide operations against the Kurdish people. 5 people were detained in the villages of Amed and 17 were detained in the Konakkuran town of Muş.

AMED

The Turkish army's operation that began yesterday in the villages between Amed's Hazro and Lice districts has ended today. Soldiers airdropped around the Çitlibahçe (Helhel) village of Hazro besieged the village and detained 3 people during the following house raids. There is no information on where the detained villagers were taken.

MUŞ

Turkish soldiers raided many houses in the Konakkuran town of Malazgirt district of Muş in the early hours of the morning. During the raids and search in the houses with dogs and detectors, soldiers detained 17 people who include two village headmen and have been taken to the Commando Unit in Malazgirt.

30 other people are reportedly sought in the scope of the same operation.
