Soldiers of the Turkish army conducted house raids in several villages of Şırnak early this morning.

The simultaneous raids in Nerex (Dağkonak) village, Gundê Melê (Balveren) town, Zorava (Gözlüce) village, Kanîsar (Ortaklar) village and Biryan (Geçitboyu) village ended up with the detention of at least 13 people including DBP Balveren co-chair Osman Sidar.

The detainees have been taken to Şırnak 23rd Gendarmerie Division Command.
