Repression on prisoners on hunger strike increased

Repression of prisoners have increased since the hunger strike and especially prisoners who are fasting have been put under pressure.

Teymur Enes from Rojava is a political prisoner held in Izmir Şakran prison where he is serving life imprisonment.

He has been on an indefinite hunger strike with his 39 friends since 27 February.

Teymur Enes, who has been in prison for 20 years, and other prisoners on hunger strike have been subjected to heavy repression and attacks by the prison administration.
