Prisoner suffering from cancer dies in prison
63-year-old prisoner Naif Aybar, who was held in Van T Type Prison and had been receiving cancer treatment for a year, passed away.
63-year-old Naif Aybar, who was detained in Van T Type Prison for a criminal offense, died in jail on Saturday morning.
It was learned that Aybar was diagnosed with cancer a year ago and received treatment.
His body was brought to Dursun Odabaşı Medical Center for autopsy.
Aybar was not released despite all applications made to the hospital, the prosecutor's office and the Forensic Medicine Institute (ATK).
