Iranian regime forces killed 24-year-old kolbar Asaad Espandar in the Alut border region of Bane, in the Kurdistan Province.

According to information shared by the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN); regime forces opened fire on a group of kolbars at close range and without warning on the night of 29 August. Kolbar Espandar was seriously injured by a bullet that hit his back.

A source who witnessed Espandar being shot said that regime forces left him wounded and did not transport him to medical facilities for several hours. It is said that Espandar later died from blood loss.
