Hunger striker Şahin: This will be our day

Figen Şahin, who is on hunger strike in Şakran Prison, said: "We will respond to this process. This will be our day."

The hunger strike launched in prisons on 27 November within the scope of the "Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan, political solution to the Kurdish question" campaign continues.

Prisoner Figen Şahin, who is in Şakran Women's Closed Prison, said in a phone call with her family that she conveyed her greetings to all prisoners on strike and that their morale was high.

Figen Şahin said: "There is great excitement. I would like to convey my warm greetings to the Leader, our patriotic people and all our friends who are on hunger strike. Our friends started this action to join the 'Freedom for Leader Apo, solution to the Kurdish question'. We went on hunger strike together with Cihan Öner. Our situation is very good. We are in good spirits. The situation is like this in all prisons. We both feel and our hearts are one. With this belief, the process will be responded to. I send my greetings to all the friends who work hard and to all the Kurdish people. I wish success to everyone. This will be our day."
