Rojnews Twitter account banned in Turkey

After the ANF articles about the MIT administrators and articles on the Paris Massacre were published on RojNews, the agency’s Twitter accounts in Turkish and Kurdish have been restricted in Turkey.

After the articles RojNews published on the MIT and the Paris Massacre, the agency’s Twitter accounts in Turkish and Kurdish have been restricted in Turkey on the demand of Turkish officials. The Ankara Criminal Court of Peace No.2 issued a ban on dozens of websites and Twitter accounts including the RojNews Twitter accounts in Turkish and Kurdish on the demand of the Prime Ministry.

Meanwhile, on January 10 when RojNews published the ANF article on the MIT in their Facebook page in Kurmanci, the account had been closed for sharing “inappropriate content”. 

On the demand of the Prime Ministry, the Ankara Criminal Court of Peace No.2 has banned access to dozens of websites including the Twitter accounts of Rojnews in Kurdish and Turkish.
