Journalist Sezgin Kartal was taken into custody following a police raid on his house in Istanbul.

A post shared on Karşımahalle's social media account, regarding Kartal's detention said: "Our reporter Sezgin Kartal was detained following a raid on his house this morning,10 January, Journalists' Day. Despite all the pressure, we will continue to write the truth!"
