Village people want to cross into South Kurdistan in protest

Boulders glissaded from mountains fell over houses in Dulê village of Beytüþþebap/Þýrnak due to the effective rain mixed with snow in the region for two days. There weren’t any loss of life while five houses in the village were damaged. Village residences decided to go to South Kurdistan to protest the authorities who didn’t find a solution to the situation despite numerous applications of villagers before.

Five houses in frontier Dulê (Taþarasý) village of Beytüþþebap county fell into ruin with the boulders falling down from mountains due to the rain and snowfall in the region.

The people of the village said they don’t have any security of life due to the ongoing effective rain mixed with snow in the region and showed reaction that officials didn’t become concerned with them.

Villagers decided to leave the village as a solution for their situation wasn’t found although they applied to Beytüþþebap District Governorship many times before.

The villagers were prevented by BDP (Peace and Democracy Party) General Provincial Council member Rahmi Bal and citizens when they wanted to pass to South Kurdistan at evening hours. They decided to walk to South Kurdistan to protest the officials’ remaining silent against the situation.
