Fifteen days after the families made their demand for the release of the bodies of their children, the bodies of Hewler-born Muhammed Süleyman (Kemal Ferzende) and Afrin-born Rodi Haci'nin (Seydo Dersim), who lost their lives in the operation of Turkish army on Sêderiyê area of Nusaybin/Mardin, have finally been taken from Mardin State Hospital’s morgue by thousands of people. Following the delivery of the bodies, BDP (Peace and Democracy Party) vehicles were attacked by special operation teams.
Thousands of people including Labor, Democracy and Freedom Block’s Mardin Independent Candidate Erol Dora, BDP PM member Mahmut Çelik, BDP Mardin Provincial Chair Sedat Dag and MEYA-DER executives came together in front of the Mardin State Hospital and took the bodies of two guerrillas in accompany with slogans “Martyrs do not die”.
POLICE ATTACK
Following the delivery of the bodies and departure to the homelands of two guerrillas, the vehicles of BDP members in a long convoy were attacked by special operations teams. While some vehicles were attacked by police with kicks, two armored scorpion teams’ vehicles cut in the mass, clustered around the funeral vehicle and quickly took it out the hospital. While the funeral vehicle was followed by hundreds of cars, hundreds of people met the convoy at the entrance of Kýzýltepe with slogans.
