Sozdar Avesta, a member of the KCK General Presidential Council, talked about the importance of Yazidi history and culture for Kurdistan and the Middle East.
Avesta remembered the many attacks on the Yazidi community in the last centuries, the genocide of 2014, the need for the Yazidi community to return to its homeland. She also spoke about today`s success of the Self-Administration of Sinjar and the resistance of Sinjar`s population against the Baghdad-Erbil deal of 9 October 2020.
