SDF said they will continue to take decisive action against any individual or group seeking to threaten the stability of their regions.
On Sunday, May 25th, the Military Operations Teams (TOL) of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) conducted a high-level security operation in Heseke city, targeting a cell member affiliated with foreign intelligence services.
In a statement about the operation, the SDF Press Center said that their forces raided the place where the cell member Manhal Abbas al-Ali, aka Abu Mutab, was hiding and successfully captured him following extensive surveillance.
“The cell to which the detained individual belongs has been involved in a series of armed robberies and looting incidents, deliberately sowing fear among residents by firing live rounds in civilian areas. In addition to disrupting public order, the group also targeted our forces’ positions in an attempt to destabilize security, undermine civil peace, and erode public confidence in our military and security institutions,” the SDF statement said.
The Syrian Democratic Forces reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to safeguarding the security and well-being of our communities, saying: “We will continue to take decisive action against any individual or group seeking to threaten the stability of our regions. To all hostile actors: Do not underestimate our resolve. Our forces are fully prepared to confront and defeat any threat under all circumstances.”
