Pillaging and tyranny by the Turkish state in Jarablus

The Turkish state's pillaging and tyranny wasn’t limited with al-Bab. Since the day of the invasion, the Turkish army, their allied gangs and so-called police forces have confiscated 60 trucks taking food items from Jarablus to Manbij.

Approximately one week ago the Turkish army and their allied gangs made an agreement with ISIS and invaded al-Bab on the 101st day. After al-Bab was invaded, the Turkish army and their allied gangs started pillaging. But their pillaging, thievery and tyranny aren’t limited to al-Bab. After the invasion, they started to confiscate trucks that take vegetables and other food items.

According to local sources, 60 trucks have been confiscated in the last week. The confiscated trucks are emptied into pickups and distributed to the gang members’ families.

Drivers who wish to remain anonymous said their load was confiscated after they were told it was forbidden for them to go to Manbij. The drivers wanted to go back with their load when they were told it was forbidden, but they weren’t allowed and their cargo was confiscated to be distributed to the families of the gang members. The drivers said this is an embargo over Manbij and added that they thus lost their job.

Local sources and drivers said the so-called police forces trained and appointed to Jarablus by Turkey did this, and added: “If it’s up to these policemen, they will take our homes soon.”
