Photographs published in a social network on the internet show People's Defense Force (HPG) members being tortured and then buried.
The disturbing photos rise question as to whether a mass grave could have been digged during the ruling of Justice and Development Party (AKP). The photographs are in fact dated 29 September 2007.
It is understood that the soldier who took part to this operation, proudly posted the photos of dead guerrillas on his Facebook account.
Mass graves dating from the 1990s have been on the political agenda now for months after the discovering of remains. The latest mass grave was discovered during restoration works in the former Gendarmerie Intelligence and Anti-Terror Unit (JÝTEM) yard.
It has been prove though that torture and violation of guerrillas' bodies is not something confined to the '90s alone.
DIHA News Agency listed some recent events:
* 12 HPG members were killed between 30 June and 1 July 2010. The bodies were beyond recognition because of the burns they carried. Photographs recovered from the mobile phone of a soldier showed the bodies before being burned with other soldiers posing next to them.
