Kurdish politicians including mayors and human rights defenders who stand on trial under KCK Case were brought to court house for 15th trial with ring vehicles. Welcomed with applauses and ululations by the people waiting in front of the courthouse, politicians entered the building with victory signs and chants.
The Kurdish politicians in Diyarbakir E and D-type prisons were brought to the Court of Diyarbakir for the 15th hearing of the “historical case” with ring vehicles. Intense security measures were taken by early morning hours around the courthouse which was also surrounded by police barriers. Separately, a large number of police officers were positioned in front of the courthouse where DTK Co-Chairs Ahmet Türk and Aysel Tuðluk, BDP Muþ MP Sýrrý Sakýk, the families of imprisoned Kurdish politicians, delegations coming from Europe, BDP Mardin MP Emine Ayna, Turkey Peace Parliament members, representatives of civil society organizations, intellectuals and writers waited.
Women politicians in Diyarbakir E-Type Prison were firstly brought to the courthouse with two ring vehicles. While people waiting in front of the courthouse welcomed women politicians with applauses, women politicians showed victory signs and ululated behind the iron bars of the ring vehicle before entering the court building. The other Kurdish politicians held in Diyarbakýr D Type Prison were next brought to the courthouse with prison’s ring vehicles. Kurdish politicians also entered the court building showing victory signs.
