The KDP (the ruling party of the Barzanis in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq) offers all the means at its disposal to the occupying Turkish state in order to prove itself a good servant. Leaving aside the existence of the people of the region, the situation of the region and the gains of the Kurdish people, it pursued its interests. The KDP, which plays a role in every occupation movement, especially in Amediyê, Dêrelûk, Kanî Masî and Bradost region, is dragging the region into chaos.

According to reliable sources, the occupying Turkish state held a secret meeting with some KDP officials in Hewlêr (Erbil). It is stated that the occupation map in the region was discussed in this meeting. The KDP and the Iraqi government not only maintain their silence against the invasion attacks, but also openly pave the way for the Turkish army in many areas. Just as they opened the Serzêrê gate for tanks and invasion vehicles to enter the Metîna and Amediyê area, now a large number of forces have been deployed to Kolîtê in partnership with the Turkish army on Rowala Hill in Xakurkê. They are trying to keep this occupation operation that started in Xakurkê secret and away from the press.

In fact, they are applying a classic tactic. Since this movement was exposed in the Amediyê region, they now want to advance in Xakurkê. It is stated that this demand comes from the KDP. In July, it was clearly seen what kind of co-operation the KDP was engaged in in Amediyê. If this co-operation is also revealed in Xakurkê, this situation may cause huge protests. On the other hand, this co-operation continues in Amedî and Dêrelûk. We observed that the villages of Mijê, Sipîndarê and the Berêgarê region were subjected to intense bombardment.

Due to the fires that broke out in these areas, many houses and properties of the villagers were destroyed, their crops and forests were destroyed. It is true that these attacks are carried out by the tanks of the occupying Turkish state, but where do these attacks originate from and who coordinates them? It is known that these attacks originate from the Silav and Bêbadê villages of Amediyê. The KDP and the Turkish army have placed tanks there and bombard these areas every day. The KDP both receives intelligence information from the region and gives the coordinates to the invading army. In other words, the main preparations for these attacks are generally organised by the KDP and the Turkish army fires artillery according to these preparations. Another dimension of the KDP cooperation is that it wants to make the occupation between Dêrelûk and Çemço permanent.

It is known how much difficulty the occupying army is having. The occupying army faces many difficulties until it reaches the depths of the Zap countryside. One of these needs is electricity. For this purpose, the KDP is installing power lines from the Dêrelûk Dam to the Balinda Valley and the Çemço region. After the completion of this work, uninterrupted electricity will be provided to the Turkish army. Of course, this is a great opportunity for the Turkish army. As it is known, the Turkish army needs a lot of electricity because it conducts the whole war on a technical basis. In order to prevent the movement of the guerrilla, it uses surveillance cameras, communication systems, radar and reconnaissance devices, all powered by electricity. Although electricity has been needed in this region for decades, it has not been provided until now. The people of the region have been expressing the need for electricity for years, but the KDP has not fulfilled this demand. But now it is carrying out this work for the occupiers with great effort. In the summer months, when the temperature is very high, only a few hours of electricity is provided to the villages in the Dêrelukê region.

KDP provides electricity to the Turkish army by cutting off the electricity provided to the people in the summer months. It is very clear that KDP rulers serve the occupiers, not the people. The most dangerous situation is that they are preparing for a conspiracy. They resort to all kinds of dirty methods to defeat the Kurdish Freedom Movement. However, the KDP is not content with this, it spreads some information among the people to hide its dirty face and camouflage its betrayal. It says that the PKK has crossed into the Duhok region with explosives. With this slander, they search some houses and create an atmosphere as if there will be an attack.

These collaborators have multiple aims. On the one hand, they spread fear among the people and present themselves as if they are the first to deal with this situation. In connection with this, they are trying to weaken the reaction of the people and show themselves as the ones who provide security.

On the other hand, and most importantly, they want to defame the Freedom Movement and hinder public support for the guerrilla. The people of the region know very well that the Freedom Movement will not do these practices. They see with their own eyes how the guerrilla protects their lands and how they give their lives for this. However, there is an important point to be emphasised here. In the coming period, some conspirators may set off explosions in the region and blame this on the Freedom Movement. In this way, they may weaken the position of the Movement and direct the reflexes of the people as a reaction to the Freedom Movement. These dirty methods reveal the ugly face of the KDP.

On the other hand, it is obvious how the Turkish army is struggling against the guerrilla. The guerrillas, who manage to survive under the most difficult conditions, use all their means to reach the high mountains. They stay in ambush for days with a loaf of bread and a liter of water. They make a great sacrifice, fight proudly and sacrifice their lives. This value is built with labour and blood. They have only one goal; to end the occupation, to protect the land and people of Kurdistan. For this reason, all conspiracies will be fruitless. Because the people know the truth and live with this truth.
