Many are the delegations in Diyarbakir these days to observe the so called KCK trial which witness 151 Kurdish politicians and activists on the dock.
Among the delegations, there is also a group of French activists. They have been interviewed by DIHA news agency. Danile Voguet, lawyer and member of the French Communist Party referring to the evidences brought against the defendants draws a parallel between the process in Turkey and the French governments’ support to the Nazis. A question comes to mind, says the lawyer: ‘Who is terrorist? A movement struggling for a nation or a State which tortures children and sends them to prison? I was here - he adds - when the trial against workers and their trade unionists from Confederation of the Revolutionary Workers Trade Unions (DISK) was on after September 12 coup. Those are similar cases. There were no evidences against them and now the same film is being shown regarding the Kurds. I couldn’t see any appropriate evidences. What I saw in here is that only some absurd evidences which no democratic court counts on them as evidences.”
