Fighters in Jarablus say they will continue their fight against the Turkish state invasion. Fighters demand international groups to stand against the occupation of Turkish state and their allied gangs.

One of the fighters, İbrahim Ehmed İbrahim said the radical gang groups took the Syrian crisis as an opportunity and tried to gain new territory on lands that don’t belong to them. İbrahim said the gangs do this by invasion, oppression and torture, and continued: “We are fighting these groups in our lands. We were close to liberating our own land Jarablus when other plans were put into action. Different invasion forces invaded our lands again and imprisoned our people.”

“BIGGEST SUPPORTER OF ISIS AND AL NUSRA IS THE TURKISH STATE”

İbrahim continued:

“The biggest invading power in these lands is the Turkish state. They don’t want to see any force not controlled by them in Jarablus. That is why they deployed Al-Nusra gangs this time. They invaded our lands with tanks, artillery and jet fighters; thus hoping to stop our advance. But the recklessness of the Turkish state will not frighten us.

The Turkish state and Erdoğan are the biggest supporter of both ISIS and Al Nusra. We know very well that the Turkish President Erdoğan doesn’t want to get rid of ISIS gangs. The Turkish border is largely under ISIS control but they don’t shoot a single bullet towards them. We are the children of this land, we want to live free in our own land. For now, our lands are not under our control yet, but we will continue our fight to live free in our own land.”

“WE WILL NOT GIVE UP ON FREEDOM”

Menhel Ebu Henadi Turkmen is another fighter from Jarablus. He has been fighting for a long time as a fighter in Jarablus Military Council to liberate his lands.

Turkmen also took an active part in the liberation of Manbij, as well as the maneuver launched to liberate Jarablus.

Turkmen emphasized that they will continue fighting against the invasion of the Turkish state and the gangs, and continued:

“Three years ago, ISIS gangs supported by the Turkish state beheaded my brother. They killed my brother because of me, because I was a fighter in the Free Syrian Army. Three years ago, we fought SIS because we didn’t want ISIS to invade Jarablus, our land. That is why they killed my brother. My family had to leave our lands. They moved to Kobanê because they thought it was safe.”

“We want to liberate our lands and live freely in there. We don’t want any occupying force in our lands,” said Turkmen, and added: “Arabs, Turkmens, Kurds are the true owners of this land. These people expect neighborly behaviour from the outside, not invasion. Now as the children of these people, we fight together to liberate our land. And after we liberate our land, we will live in fraternity.”

CALL TO INTERNATONAL CIRCLES

Turkmen emphasized that they will never give up on the freedom of Jarablus and said: “We have fought for our lands for so many years, we will fight more. The Turkish state saw that we were about to liberate our land, and played a different game this time in making it look like they are fighting ISIS gangs, but invaded our lands with Al Nusra gangs, which are no different than ISIS, without fighting against ISIS at all.”

Turkmen also made a call to international powers: “We are determined to liberate our land. I call on the international powers: Admit that Turkey is an occupant force and back us in our rightful cause.”
